45th anniversary of the company’s founding

The recipients of the Piotr Kler Foundation scholarship played a concert to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the company’s founding.

In the Concert Hall of the Opole Philharmonic, the Opole Philharmonic ensemble conducted by Przemysław Neumann played together with two young pianists – Przemysław Winnicki and Filip Pinczewski, to celebrate the 9th Foundation Gala which took place on 17 February 2018. The concert’s programme included the following works of Peter Tchaikovsky: Orchestra and Piano Concerto No. 1 in B minor, op .23; and of Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy: Orchestra and Piano Concerto No. 1 in G minor, op. 25.

45 years on the market is a reason to celebrate with pride! Piotr Kler began studying his craft when he was 13. He studied at the workshop of Antoni Aptyka, a pre-war master craftsman from Dobrodzień (a carpentry town). To this day, he considers Antoni not only to be his first boss, but also his mentor. He spent ten years with him, before founding his own company in 1973. Today it supports young, talented artists and helps them achieve success. As he is wont to say, “Someone once gave me a chance – now it’s my turn to do the same!”
